Windows 7 and Wireless

    I have a windows 7 laptop trying to connect to my linksys linksys wrt54g router. I have WPA2 on the router with latest firmware and cannot connect via wireless. In network places I see my network but when trying to connect it will not let me. On the router side I have the sid disabled and use mac filtering which I already added the mac adddress to the router. please help

    enable the ssid and try. once you're connected disable the ssid. your computer should save the connection and connect automatically next time.

    worked like a charm. didnt have to do that for my xp laptop very strange:)
