Windows 7 beta question

Alright all i have a Great question to ask...

IS the new windows 7 beta on the same type of i wanna say architecture as vista but im not sure if thats the right word for it... im asking this cuz i wanna know the compatibility issues im going to face... for example will it have a prebuilt-in 7950gt driver, or LAN drivers and that kind of stuff...

I know this might be a nooby question to ask but i gotta ask it...

W7 has the same drivers as Vista so if your card works in Vista...

Hi

If you have not run a beta of this size before then do make a backup of your important data first if running the upgrade, as being beta they are prone on some setups (dependent on hardware and software installed) to crash or experience strange bugs, this is normal.

But have fun if running the beta and do try out the Senarios for Windows 7 as they will show you and aid in knowing the functions and applications as well as giving valuable feedback to the team developing this Windows version.

Running myself as one test PC a 2yr old ACER laptop and installing Windows 7 on a clean install it found all bar the media card 5in1 slot drivers but the Vista ones worked well, did need manually installing from Device Manager > Update Driver but they installed fine, Windows 7 has a huge database of drivers so most should be found on install, but do download the latest Vista ones for your PC just in case,
