I'm running into an issue where I can't boot Windows 7. I can start it up in safe mode easily enough, but when I go to do a normal boot, it says "starting windows" or "loading windows" or whatever with the windows sign, then it goes black and I hear my fans rev up, and then they stay revved up while the screen just stays black. It stays this way for 15+ minutes. I have a fast-ish computer (core i7) so this shouldn't be a hardware issue. I ran a MSE scan and it came back all clean. I tried a system restore and that didn't work either. Any ideas? I've attached a hjt log (ran in safe mode + networking).

Do you have your WIN7 DVD? Is this a 32 or 64 bit system?

Ok - I previously fixed this with system restore. Turns out now any time I restart, I'd have to restore... problem is, now my restores don't work. I need to make the windows disks. Assuming I get them, how should I proceed?
