    Greetings Geeks!
Mom's megagig email drop (and others) use windows 7 (I'm XP pro-). I've been following various threads about 7's firewall effectiveness. If it works don't fix it, however I cannot figure out the outbound program settings. I'm used to ZA, which I've installed on one 7 machine rather than the 7 firewall. ZA functions fine, however I would like to be able to access the outbound settings in 7 in any case. It gets dense as sweet milk. Please tell me I missed something simple, we can all have a good laugh, and we can go back to voiding our warranties in peace. Thanks in advance, and as always:

Thank you, plodr. I probably skipped right past that screen. Not having the 7 OS machines in hand leads to memory deprivation, and the link was handy, and informative. I'm going to try the sphinx (sp?) program which sounds proven. I like zone alarm a lot. But the comodo firewall discussion on on your link deserves further scrutiny, although I don't use it. But I'd rather use windows stuff in windows if it works ok. I'm relieved I don't have to learn ancient greek. I'm having a hard enough time speaking geek! Thanks again!
