windows 7 folder view problems.......

    The partition I use to back up files and stuff has changed its view. I want to get rid of the groups in this partition, and Simply show my files and stuff. I am having no luck changing it.

    Have you found the More Options dropdown on the menu bar?

    That pic was ringing bells - where had I seen it before? And I remembered - it's one of the views of Network in Vista. Is your Win 7 an upgrade from Vista by any chance?

    OK, found it at last. In Organize > Layout make sure Menu Bar is ticked, and from Menu Bar > View > Group By > (None)
