Windows 7 Home Professional Updates

Hi,

I have been having problems when trying to run windows update and the attached two downloads continue to fail to install with the attached error.

Do you know anyway to let me install these files?

A simple first check is to make sure your clock is right. I'm in UK too and since we changed to BST last weekend my clock is always an hour ahead of where it should be. It can prevent updates from installing.

This is to confirm the clock on my PC is set to the correct time.

I downloaded Windows 7 (KB2345886) and when I try to install it comes up with advising this update is not applicable to your computer :\ strange considering it is appearing as a windows update.

I ran the sfc /scannow and Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.

With regards to downloading SP1 I am a little confused as to which file(s) I need to download?

I have an AMD Athlon processor operating on a 64 bit system of Windows 7 and on this link there appear to be 4 related to X64, do I need to download and install all of these files?

P.S. Please note I do not have a Windows 7 CD as it was already pre-installed on the PC when it was purchased.
