WINDOWS 7 Install problem

Ok Im trying to do a clean install of windows 7 on a HP dv2110us laptop every time i run the disc it gets to expanding windows files but then just hangs i tried removing one stick of the ram then swapped out the other then used ram i have that i know is good then i tried swapping out the hdd with one i know is good. i then tried to install vista and got the exact same thing any other ideas??????????

is it hanging with just the background and a mouse pointer? have you let it sit a while, for at least 20 - 30 mins? found something similar on another site, and once people said they just wait it out, it continues.

I can not find your model. There is a dv2110eu, dv2110rs, dv2110tu, dv2110tx or dv2120us

My notebook PC is not listed in the table of supported notebooks and does not have Windows Vista Home Premium, Business or Ultimate Edition installed.

which then states

HP does not recommend changing the operating system of your notebook to Windows 7. HP does not plan to release Windows 7 drivers or software for notebook models that are not listed in the table.
