Windows 7 Installing Printer

    I have installed my PIXMA MX310 Cannon Printer. Also went on the Cannon web site to update drivers for Windows 7. Everytime I try to print I get printer not responding. I uninstalled reinstalled nothing. I have a Dell Inspiron all in one Windows 7 64 bit OS. Help me please I am lost.
