Looking for away to fix this issue.

Completely fresh install.Wiped hard drive 7 times DOD.Fully updated windows with drivers.

Looking for help with this solution.

My desktop will randomly reboot at random times.Just now it rebooted while trying to boot.

I found out now that my windows or motherboard is not recognizing my full 8 gigs. When Bio's scans system it will read 4 gigabyte but there is 8 gigabytes loading in windows 7 64bit.

Did you try reseating the RAM modules? or swapping out the modules one at a time to make sure the module or the socket hasn't gone South on you?

I all so just found out that the system is in single channel mode not dual channel like it should be.

    Grab you towel, and chill.

Fresh install ain't a burn in, but it taxes the PSU a bit. Days gone by, I'd query the HDD.

How many hours - start/stop cycles on this drive?

The SSD is only two months old.

It took me almost an hour to get the desktop to even turn over. But i finally got the Ram back into unganged mode. Now the BIOS is reading the full 8 gigs of ram. Before, it was only reading the 4 gigs.

This motherboard is from 1996 lol.

I am hoping that i don't get any more errors.

Windows still having the issue. Not sure if it's the power supply or just windows.

Ram seems to be fine. It's reading all the ram installed now and it's in dual channel like it should be.

Apparently I am not the only one that is having this issue.

Could it be due to a Windows update. This was not an issue until about 2 weeks ago.I think it started in September. There are happening's all so in windows 10 as well.

Keep an eye on your event viewer. If you leave your desktop on all the time.Check the event viewer to see if there is a Kernel Power ID 41.

I have been looking for a solution for this problem for all most a month now.Have not found it.My laptop is running perfectly fine.No issues and it stays on 24/7.
