In windows XP you could do network testing by going into the properties of the NIC. In windows 7 I don't see that available. Do they have anything built into windows 7 that anyone knows of?

    Hi

By Network testing what data do you wish to see? packet loss, speed, connection ratio, etc

is it the hcp://system/netdiag/dglogs.htm that you are after from XP to Win7 ?

    As similar could be HERE

Just basic testing. You used to be able to individually do each test right through windows in xp. That link you sent me will work for windows 7. I just wanted to give the deskside guys something to look at first. Thanks.

    Hi

Think the link will suffice I feel for what you want but if the deskside ( and thinking this is IT support in your workplace perhaps or different) then Netsh.exe will give more detailed info, I do also use this HERE (may need to run in Win vista/7 as Admin) some neat free apps at NirSoft.
