What I want to do is share an entire C drive with another computer. I think I covered all the basic sharing settings correctly, I am able to share regular folders. So I've gone into Advanced Sharing to try and add a specific user account. But when I click on Locations, all it shows is the name of the local machine. Shouldn't it show all the computers connected to the network? Because I can't add the account name from the other computer. So that seems to mean that there is some sort of problem with network but I have no clue guys...

nevermind I just discovered a way to do it. in the security tab for the c drive I added an "everyone" entry and gave that full permission.
