    Question 1
Is there away to remove the annoying UAC Icon on the Programs. This UAC icon is kind getting on my nerves.

    Question 2
Is there a way to completely stop the UAC option with out it affecting any thing.

This is my computer i want to use this on.I know how to use the UAC settings but it seems that there are too much security protocalls in 7.

And these High end security protocalls don't seem to do any thing against virus or malware problems. All they are is just a major headache

This is quite true and good advice, Goldenskull...

Many people wind up there there because it is often the very first choice on search engines like Google; for people that are searching for software. However CNet's website is by far the biggest promoter of adware/spyware on the Internet. The CNet 'downloader' (which they actually label the 'Installer') first asks the user to "Authorize the installer using the security dialog" and then click 'next.' And then the fun begins when it downloads all kinds of garbage on to the users computer such as toolbars that you don't need and certainly do not want; as well as downloading and then installing various Internet Explorer add-ons which install themselves without the users knowledge.

Numerous "CNET Installer versions" of software are actually wrapped within other applications that install various pieces of software such as the adware commonly known as PUP.CNET adware.

My advice is to everyone looking for freeware or shareware would be to avoid that website at all costs and stay right here at MajorGeeks.com for your software needs (and save it to your favorites). ;)

    Good Luck! - Comp
