   Is there a program for windows 7 that you can change the SID on the PC. I know for XP there sys internals or new sid

   Try this info HERE Sysprep is the general way of doing this.
   
   Did you try NEWSID to see if it works in Windows 7, it should do (may need to run as admin though, right click Run as Administrator), not had opportunity or need to change the SID as yet.
