Windows 7 Transformation Pack

On yesterday's front page (April 29, 2009) I saw the new Windows 7 Transformation Pack and it looks interesting. However, I remember people having serious problems with some of the Vista trans-packs, especially when it came to uninstalling 'em. So, I'm looking for comments and first-hand experiences with this new Win7 pack. If anyone out there in MG-Land has installed it, used it, uninstalled it, liked it, hated it, had some issues, whatever, please post....

I can only comment on one poor fellow that recently installed it and hosed his system. I tried one a few years ago and it hosed my system so I stay away from them now like the plague.

Like Augie, I tend to urge folk not to go down this route of transformation packs, while in the main they work OK, you are changing many core files and this can have a bad effect, especially if you have a less than legit version of Windows (not meaning you dlb).

If trying one out do remember to backup your PC fully.

Believe don't download it, it will make your Windows xp miserable. I tried it on my computer--i won't do that again. It makes your computer slower, it doesn't look good, and you will have problems uninstalling it. YOU WILL HAVE TO FORMAT YOUR WINDOWS.
