windows 7 user password problem

my friend has a toshiba satellite pro L450D-12X running on OS windows 7 pro he recently changed his user password wrote it down and hid it for safe keeping, so safe infact he couldnt even find it when he forgot what it was :-o ohhhh dear :confused.
well the problem is this he didnt make a reset password key or turn the admin user thing on so i cant get in to turn the password off is there another way?
anyone have any ideas please

 

Can you boot the machine into safemode (f8 on boot) if you can log in to the hidden Admin account and and delete his password from his account, If not then download and run this ......

burn the iso to disc using your favourite cd/dvd burning software,I prefer to use Infrarecorder.....

this is free and very easy to use. once you have created the bootable disc, put the disc into the machines cd/dvd draw and reboot your machine, at the post screen hit any key to boot from disc, follow the on scren prompts and this will remove ALL windows passwords on that machine.

Excellent tool is that ntpasswd!! I use that and Ophcrack (harder to use).
