Windows 7 Wireless Network Help

I am running Windows 7 and am receiving my internet through a dual band wireless usb adapter. I want to make this computer share its connection so i can split it with a router to other things like my xbox that dont have wireless. I know this is possible on windows XP but not Vista. Am i gonna be able to do it on Windows 7?

Nobody really knows whats up? I can elaborate on the setup or what i'm tryin to achieve. Help me out.

 

yes picking it up from my school. my computer gets the signal with a couple bars and keeps it consistent but my xbox cant stay connected so i want to make it easier on it plus my phone among other things.

 

I think something like this was just addressed recently but in the opposite direction. You are on a wireless network and you want to use the ethernet cable to a switch and from that out to other devices?

I think you would be best off only attaching one other device, but that's up to you and how it works for you speed wise.

You need to bridge your wireless and your local area connection. I can't walk you through it on windows 7 but someone ran through the setup recently for a poster asking to share a wired home internet connection to a wireless connection through a computer to attach the iphone and other devices wirelessly. Same idea, opposite direction. Search down through this board not more than 10 days, it's in there.
