Windows 7 won't boot

    Windows 7 won't boot. It says "insert disk image and press enter". nothing. I change the boot order to both dvd burner to hard drive and it does the same thing. just doesn't boot. i notice it pause for a minute on bootup screen.any help would be appreciated. i need it for school. thanks.

    "insert disk image and press enter" Does it perhaps say, Insert system disk and press enter?

    You need to mention brand and model of computer.

    Check your hard disk is connected properly. Hopefully the disk wont have died. What make/model is it?

    Go into your BIOS and check your SATA Operation. try different settings under the SATA Operation and see if the system will boot up.
