Hey guys! I am trying to use the Windows Tools Menu in win 8.1. I right click on the start menu while in desktop mode and I only get network connections. I went through C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WinX and made sure that all of the shortcuts were in the three group folders.

I also went through the registry editor to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ShellCompatibility\InboxApp and found all of the info there. But I'm not as familiar(comfortable) editing registry entries so I didn't go into that. The only thing I notice is in that section the default entry. It says value not set. I have not been able to find much info about it either.

I feel like a goob. After putting the shortcuts back in my user folder, a reboot put them back in the power user menu.
