   When I try to start NETFLIX from the start page, Netflix wants to retrieve and install an update; at that point the upgrade appears to have wandered into la-la land. I let it set overnight and it looked like it was still sitting where it was the night before.
   
   However, netfilx starts on the desktop without any problems.

   First thing in this case, typically is to uninstall and reinstall it. Sometimes thats all it takes.
