windows 8

I got a message asking if I wanted to update to Windows 8. Is it any good or is it full of bugs like Windows 7 was?:confused

Do you mean IE 7 to IE 8?
Or Windows the Operating system 7 to 8?

7 hasnt even been released officially till october... So if it is the operating system you speak of I suggest you egnor it as it sounds like a nasty.

 

You probably mean Windows Internet Explorer 8.
Yeah, I'd go for it
But for a better browser altogether, get Mozilla Firefox

 

Yeh I use IE8 and FF at home.
Never really was a fan of IE until 8

So yes - if you are on about the browser the upgrade is a good idea but as my main man zDawg says consider Firefox

 

Thanks CaptainQwerty. The update was for IE8, not windows 8. I hardly ever use IE because it's so slow. I usually use Chrome or Safari. Would updating to IE8 make it comparable to the browsers I'm now using?:confused

 

Alot of applications such as AIM's ads and ooVoo, and such use an integrated version of IE. t is smart to have that updated to the latest version... always.

Just make sure you have the latest IE with the latest updates if not to use but atleast for security. Dont want a big hole in your security just because you sat on an old IE
