First off, I am a new member here. I have been finding all kinds of cool stuff here and it's awesome! The most recent thing I did here was download Windows 98 Revolutions Pack 3.6. I have a question regarding this unofficial update which transforms the old Windows 98 to the newer XP look.

I am currently using Windows 98 SE on a machine with a 355 MHz processor and 256 MB of RAM. I use thumbnail views for all my picture folders and I also use media preview in Windows Explorer for all my music folders (I enabled this by editing the text in C:\WINDOWS\WEB\FOLDER.HTT). What this allows me to do is listen to an MP3 file (or pretty much any music file for that mater) in any of my music folders without opening the file in Windows Media Player. Instead, when I simply select an MP3 file, a mini media player opens up in the web content section of the folder, where I can play the file right in Windows Explorer.

Since installing this Windows 98 Revolutions Pack, I have lost my media preview. This is a feature I really want back! Now all my folders look like the Windows 2000 folders (actually, the WEB folder in C:\Windows IS the Windows 2000 folder). The rest of my computer looks like Windows XP for the most part and I like it, but I really miss my media preview. Has anyone had this problem, or know a fix to get my media preview back while still using this Revolutions Pack?

    Thanks in advance,

    Dan

P.S. I tried to copy the Windows 98 version of FOLDER.HTT over the Windows 2000 version in C:\WINDOWS\WEB, but it did not work. I even replaced the entire WEB folder with the old Windows 98 WEB folder, and still nothing!
