I have an old gateway computer with windows 98.I bought a new one last year and I think that I will keep the gateway to work with offline.I have lost the sound because of something that I did and I can't get it back.It tells me that I need a sound card.I would like to reinstall windows 98 to go back to the begining hopeing to start over.I would like learn more and not worry about crashing it because it is so old. What do I do to reinstall windows 98?Stupid computer user.

Try to run the original Win98 CD setup on top of the current installation, it should refresh the OS and leave your files and settings as is.
