windows 98se driver problems

I recently install windows 98 se on my laptop and the screen doesnt have good clear view and i cant get the sound to work, but when I had windows 2000 professional everything worked good. I downgraded because I felt that I would have a faster running laptop because I only have 64megs of ram. I would greatly apperciate any help.

 

First you will have to tell us what the brand and model of laptop it is. We can't help if we don't know what hardware it is using.
