Windows Anti-Spyware BETA

    I just gave this product a test run on two of my heavily used and usually heavily abused windows 2000 machines. The app did a good job of cleaning and found a few items that adaware and spybot had not. Im still waiting to see if it eliminated CoolWebSearch which has been plauging one machine for about a month. I haven't taken all the necessary steps to remove it yet like running CWshredder in safe mode with the system restore off ect. So i am curious to see if the microsoft product can remove it. Also im leaving the real time protection running to see if it has any result.

    MS Antispyware is very buggy and is only a beta. No one here recommends using it. It has actually broken quite a few PC and MS has lots of complaints about it already. It does not fix CWS problems that anyone else cannot fix. Most of the new breeds of CWS are not fixable by any software. Most require manual removal along with some software.
