A few days ago when I tried to listen to a CD on my computer, I couldn't hear audio and my volume control gave me an error message. I did some internet searching and found out how to access the Windows Services section (Run: services.msc). I now have to access this and restart the audio service everytime I boot up my comptuer. I have not made any major changes in my computer, I have only uninstalled some programs to free up hard drive space. Is there any way I can avoid doing this???
    Thanks in advance.

Open Windows Services again, right-click the audio service entry, and select the "Properties" option from the menu. Use the drop-down box to change the "Startup type" setting to "Automatic", then click on the OK button, close Services, and reboot your system.

Once the system reboots, your problem should be solved. Let us know if you have any problems, and good luck...
