Windows boot disk

ok...u guys know my problem and if u dont look at the threads like a couple under this one started by me...how do i do the boot disk...step by step

 

so no1 here knows how to do the boot disk to restore windows

 

ok look...my comp starts up,shows mobo screen,then a couple other black screens n stuff,then just a blank screen w/ no writing... so to do the boot disk doi just put it in since its already floppy drive starts first in bios...like what do i do? and ive seen that site...i need to like download a boot disk...i cant make one i had xp and i got the cd but i cant like get it to start up right...its weird

 

i did it! IT FINALLY READ MY XP PRO DISK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its formatting right now...i was supposed to delete the partition right?

 

If you format and delete, you lose all information & programs that was on the pc.
Now you are starting from scratch, Brand new windows install for you, dont forget to get updates from Microsoft.

Your best bet is to post your problem on the forum, then you can get help from everyone.
No need to make multiple threads.

wait...but i shouldnt get sp2 tho right...thats messes up ppls computers

 

You should install sp2.

 

Since you are doing a fresh install of XP, it's the best time to get SP2 for it. Most problems with people installing SP2 stem from already having a bunch of spyware & other crap on the computer, along with forgetting to uninstall firewalls & virus products before installing SP2. Do it before there's anything else on your computer & you should be fine.
