2 computers on our network of 5 arn't detecting any wireless networks. 1 PC & 1 Laptop are having the issue, they were originaly working, no system changes or anything, and all of a sudden stopped working at the same time. Range doesn't seem to be the issue either as they dont work even if in the same room as the router.

    Setup:

    Router - Linksys BEFW11S4
1 PC - Plugged straight into router
    2 PC's - Wirelessly connected with linksys's usb adaptor
2 Laptops - Wirelessly connected with internal adaptor

All wireless computers running XP Home SP2

The router is brodcasting its SSID, I have disabled any type of encryption for the time being incase it was somehow causing the issue, DHDP is active on the router, all computers are set to auto ip. Window's Wireless Zero Config (or whatever the service is called) is set to automatic, and enabled.

There is another Router in our area, both defective computers dont pick it up either while the other 2 wireless computers that are working do detect them.

I have tried reinstalling drivers, running virus scans, adaware, etc... but two computers still arn't detecting any wireless networks.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
    M

Are your settings set up to connect to access points or just peer to peer??
