    Hey

I am installing windows xp onto my new computer and everytime i get to the part where windows installs the files from the cd (after formating the drive) it either reboots or shows a blue screen after 12%. The blue screen says to remove any new hardware, which is all new. I have no idea what to do?? Any help would be great. Thanks.

This a new cd or an OEM from a different rig? If the latter ....won't work.

Both from Dell? If so, it will recognize that the new computer is not a dell build and won't install.
