Everything worked great then one day it didn't.
Was Win XP NTFS. Now when I run FDISK, it says file system unknown.
Tried using the XP install disk to "repair" it, didn't work.
Linux can see the drive and I did get the most important files off it.
Now I want to salvage the drive.
Can I RE Fdisk it & re format it back to Fat32?

P.S. A way to get the drive back WITH all the files intact would be GREAT.

Testdisk, on the UBCD4WinCD or MBRWork should enable you to re-create the correct MBR for your drive and regain full access to the data.
