windows defender problem

    my windows defender deleted a no-install program of mine by mistake is there a way to get it back?

    if so plz tell me

    its not quarantine that was my first thought to

    and yes i could but it saves certian config data and save files to part of the program and they take forever to get right

    Hi

    Outside chance then that file recovery app may get this back and recuva is ok, but if possible and if the files are found then recover them to a secondary HDD, External HDD or USB pen as recovering files to same drive that they are on may inadvertantly corrupt the file.

    Which Windows are you using as if Vista then try opening the C drive and right click a blank space and choose Properties then click the Previous Versions tab and open up a previous folder as this allows you basically to open up System Restore points and grab a single file.
