Windows error

Whenever i try to close a window after viewing it it shows this error:"Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience".
This is the technical error I got:
C:\DOCUME~1\OMSAI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\719_appcompat.txt.
Please HELP

 

The technical error is actually a link to the text file containing the technical error. please ATTACH the file listed there to a new post.

If you can't find the file just paste it into the Start --> Run box and hit enter, it will then open in notepad and you can save it to a more reasonable locaiton.

But it shows that there is no file as such...after i have done what u have said

 

To the OP (asher_friends), is that all the info ye get, what about the details button?

When that error shows up, immediately migrate to that text file that is created. Don't close the error message.

There is a workaround for this error, but it just stops MS from debugging errors.
