windows experience index

hi, I recently reformatted and reinstalled win. 7 pro. 32bit. every thing is running fine, but the windows experience index. It keeps coming up with the same error " could not measure video playback performance" Any idea's of whats going on? All drivers are up to date and did not have this problem be for the re-install. The only thing different is that I'm using gomplayer instead of win. media player.

 

the problem was k-light codec. installed and rebooted re ran the w.e.i. and it all the way. I have the Sapphire 5770 vapor x and I'm using ati cat 10.3. could there be a bug in the driver? I was using k-light before the reinstall of win. 7. can you recommend a good codec program. thank you very much, bunkachunk

 

Halo is much more expert on codecs than I am but I came across this program whilst researching my daily post to MG Software forum.
