Windows Explorer does not update drive labels

    Using Windows XP Pro with all updates.

    Windows Explorer has stopped updating the drive label for removable devices (CD/DVD drives) in the left-hand pane (the drive list). It used to, but not anymore, even if I refresh the list.

    Is there a way to turn this back on?

    Does it to me too. Reboot fixes it.
