For some reason, my windows explorer keeps refusing to work, I've had to reformat Windows (non destructive, still keeps old files in a recovery partition in C) 4 times now. It then works for a while, I begin to install software and updates from Windows Update but then I get the error message in the picture attached and the taskbar disappears. If I run Windows Explorer from the ctrl-alt-del menu it flashes up for about 3-4 seconds, then I get the error again and it goes again.
    Please help :(
    Thank you.

Thank you, but unfortunatly I found out that it was some form of virus/spyware that had infected my recovery partitions. I just backed some stuff up and did a destructive format, thanks for the reply, that tool will defintatly come in useful in the future.
