My error is as stated in the title. One of the correction steps is to check for virus or malware, so I started with that hoping you could help.

This started only yesterday when I opened up a Steam game. My Steam games are on my D: drive. It's a 6-in-1 bundle game and I've already played 3 of them with no problems. Yesterday I opened it to start game 4 when this happened. I verified the game files through Steam and they're fine but this keeps happening.

I also wanted to mention, I did have a little problem with the instructions. Malwarebytes was a trial download so it apparently is scanning my computer periodically. The instructions say not to run the scans again but I don't know how to stop it from doing so.

RogueKiller threw me to a website (after the scan) for Adlice Software, Remove PUM (Guide). I didn't remove the PUM's.

Hitman Pro didn't go according to instructions at all. I got a green screen (something about installation) with buttons "Next" (to continue) or "Cancel". I hit Next and got another similar green screen so I hit Next again. Then I got a scan report. So I was not able to open it and choose the tabs or button boxes as per the instructions. I hope the report is okay as I have no idea what it did.

I am not finding any malware in your logs. I suggest you post in the software forum for additional assistance.

Since you are not having any malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Re-enable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it in step 4 of the READ & RUN ME.
    3. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    4. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8, it is time to make sure you have re-enabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Now go to the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 or 10 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    6. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    7. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
