As the title says, I'm using XP Professional and I made a Quick Launch shortcut for Windows Explorer. (Next to the Start button)

It used to work fine, and now behaves differently.

It was set so it opened in tree-view on C:\Program Files, with that folder open on the left-hand side and all the sub-folders under it.

It still opens on C:\Program Files, but there are NO sub-folders under it, and NO plus + sign next to it.

I have to go to the right-hand side and click on one of the folders there to make the sub-folders appear on the left again.

It used to work fine, and nothing has changed so I suspect a corrupt Registry entry?

Recreating the shortcut has no effect.

    The shortcut's properties are for "Target" : %windir%\explorer.exe /e, C:\Program Files and for "Start In" : %windir%

I hope this makes sense, but here is a graphic if it helps anyone.

    Thanks in advance.
