Windows fax and scan

    Trying to scan something like I have done 100 times before, went to start menu (Vista) and could not find windows fax and scan!! Did a search for it and still could not find it!! Where has it gone??

    Hi

    What version of Vista do you have? as its only Ultimate, Enterprise and Business that have Fax and Scan built in.

    Did you have Fax and Scan in this version of Windows working before? if you did them it maybe corrupted and need re-installing again, to do this go into Control Panel > Programs and click Turn Windows features on or off, then in the list Scroll down to Fax and Scan and untick and click ok, then repeat and then tick it and click ok to re-install.


    If you dont have a version of Vista that comes with Fax and Scan then see if your Scanners maker has software to do this job.
