windows fax and scan

hi could someone please tell me how to turn off error correction on windows fax and scan program.
i have magic jack and am trying to fax.pc is win 7.

I haven't yet tried Windows 7 so I don't know if it offers the same settings options as Vista/XP etc...

1. Try going to Control Panel and open the Phone and Modem Options applet.
2. Click the Modems Tab then the Properties button.
3. Look for an option to Disable error correction. If no go, then...
4. Click the Advanced tab.
5. The section you want is Extra Initialization Commands:

To find the command to enter (which will disable error correction), you'll have to do a little foot work to find the command based on the brand/model of the physical modem that is installed into the computer. You can go to the website for the maker of the modem and check there and you can also start a google search with the line...
