Windows Firewall, Avira firewall.

    So I have Avira internet suite which comes with its own firewall and a bunch of other stuff.. But it conflicts with windows firewall. So I disabled windows firewall from the the services section like completely disabled it and it keeps asking me to turn it back on. My question is which firewall is better and also how do I just get windows to stop sending me notifcations that its off its mad annoying. Should I disable aviras firewall and keep windows firewall enabled. Or should I keep the aviras firewall on?

    Personally I would stick with the Avira firewall.

    Which version of Windows are you running?

    Go into the security Center and change the notifications.

    That's fine for XP.

    If you are running Windows 7/8 then you can go into the action centre to turn it off.

    On 7, Control Panel, (in icon view rather than category), Windows Firewall then in the right pane look for Change Notification Settings.
