"Due to an unidentified problem, windows cannot display firewall settings"
This happens in the control panel. When i go to security center, shows my firewall is on, and i can't take it off. Yesterday before i was removing viruses, it was off and i couldn't turn it on???? Someone help please.

Are you logging on as an administrator?

Thank you very much for the reply. I think so. It logs on by itself, and you dont have the option in normal mode. But even when i log on in safe mode as admin, it won't let me.
    Thanks lando

Hey Lev. Mabey you can help me out on this one. I downloaded and added the registry info. My firewall shows that it is off when i open it in Desktop folder. So i thought i was home free, but I just looked in the Security folder now, and it shows that it is on. Kinda weird. Thanks for your help.
