   Periodically I get a freeze. I finally remembered to check the event viewer and I saw an error message No. 0x8004d01b. Microsoft Knowledgbase had nothing and a general search had extensive information about servers. I am on a solo compluter with WinXP Pro SP2.
   
   I have included a HiJackThis log.

   First, your HJT log was not renamed as it should be......but there is nothing of import in it.
   
   Do you have this file?: [SIZE=-1]%systemroot%\system32\dtclog ...if so:
   
   [/SIZE][SIZE=-1]Rename the “%systemroot%\system32\dtclog” folder to “%systemroot%\system32\dtclog.old” if it exists. Create a new dtclog folder (%systemroot%\system32\dtclog) and at the command prompt run “msdtc –resetlog”. [/SIZE]
