I use the FTP server built into windows to give me (and some friends and family) access to cretin files on my computer remotely. I need to configure my rotuer to send the correct ports to my computer but I don't know what they all are. (At the moment I'm forwarding way more than I need to)

The intital connection (port 21) is obvious, but when I connect to it (I'm using BulletProof FTP client) it has the client reconnect on port 4229 then 4230 then 4231 etc for each file it retrieves/sends. Does anybody know what the complete range of ports it can use are and perhaps how to change them so there aren't so many (less ports to forward threw)? (The most people ever on the server at 1 time has been 2 so there's no need to a huge number of ports)

(I'm 99% sure this is related to the windows server, not the client)
I have XP pro SP2, I typically edit the FTP settings via Computer Management in the Administrative tools but I suspect changing ports like this may be a reg edit since I can't find any settings even close in the FTP properties there.

Yes, that does appear to do it. I would still prefer an option in the server to change though.
