Windows Genuine Advantage Validation Tool (KB892130)

    Hi, I was getting some help on the Malware removal forum. I ran the tool "Your Uninstaller" to eliminate a program. In the results I saw something called Windows Genuine Advantage Validation Tool (KB892130) and says it is corrupted. Wondering what that is, and if it should uninstall it or if it is a real Windows program I need to repair somehow? Thanks for any answers!

    My copy is genuine, and I seem to be getting the Windows updates, so I guess I don't need to worry about "Your Installer" saying it is corrupted?

    I can't say for sure it's removal will never cause you an issue, but the validation process has been completed.

    The software you used may see it as "crapware", because it has served it's purpose.
