Help! Wnen I boot my Win XP laptop, I get a breif blue screen and it tries to reboot. Once in a whule, it will boot and I get the error msg thet Windows has recovered from a serious error" and it gives me the following:

    BCCode : 1000007e BCP1 : C0000005 BCP2 : 80505924 BCP3 : F7982C14
    BCP4 : F7982910 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 2_0 Product : 256_1

Does anyone know what this means and what I can do about it? Of course, Microsoft has no info on the message.

Incidently, for the past few days, whenever I try to run a registry cleaner, the computer will refuse to boot. I have used Norton Systemworks, JV16, Registry Mechanic, regclean, etc... All with the same results. Whenever this happens, I have to use restore to goe back to last week, but I still get the results that I listed in my 1st paragraph.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated

    Thank you

Do you have any USB devices connected when this happens?
