Windows Hates Me!

I believe Windows is broken on my computer. I am using Windows XP home edition with Service Pack 2. Today when I turned on my computer there was a blue screen with white text that did not fit onto the computer screen it said somethiing about a physical memory dump---which seems like a bad sign..but this happens about once a month and never has been a problem before.

When I rebooted, my computer was still broken, it boots normally then goes to the opening Windows XP screen with the blue loading bar and then the screen goes blank and stays blank forever.

I have tried the following...

1. started windows normally. (no dice.)
2. start Windows with the last know good configuration. (no dice.)
3. start Windows in safe-mode (no dice.)
4. start Windows in Safe-Mode with command prompt. (no dice.)
5. I start on F8 Option, I started Windows in Directory Services Restore Mode.
(The screen scrolled down a number of files, the system booted in Safe-Mode and I received the following screen:

Checking File System on C: The volume is clean, Windows has finished checking the disk.

Nothing happened after that...screen stayed the same.)

6. started Windows in de-bugging mode (no dice.)
7. started Windows with bootlogging enabled. (no dice.)
8. started Windows with VGA mode enabled. (no dice.)
9. I tried Directory Services Restart Mode one more time for good measure. (no dice.)
10. I have also tried to start the opeating system from the Widows XP re-instillation CD. I tried this once booting from C and once booting from my CDRom drive. (no dice.)

Please help me fix my computer.

 

What did the bsod text state? Sometimes it will give you filenames or even error codes.

 

Is BSOD the blue screen? If so, it usually says something like, "physical memory dump is complete" or something like that.
