Windows initiating off screen

Greetings everyone. So glad to have happened across this MONDO tech site. Good God!


I stumbled across the solution to this problem on a former PC a long time ago, but I can't seem to trip over the solution this time.

I can sometimes right click on the icon in the taskbar and select 'move' to bring it on screen, but doesn't always work. I can also locate the window by blinding clicking and dragging off screen until I've found it, but that gets tedious fast.

What causes and what's the fix?

What kind of video/graphics are you running.

I have one pc that I use Nvidia AGP card, in Nvidia desktop manager is option that you check that prevents windows from opening off screen.

 

Hmm. I have to check actually. Came stock.

Will check to see if I can find a similar option with a vid desktop manager.
