windows installer firing up with IE popup blocker

    Hi gang,

    whenever IE blocks a popup (SP2) or I fire up outlook to check email, windows installer starts to try to install Microsoft office 2000. This suite is already installed on my system.

    I suppose I could simply uninstall the suite and reinstall to see if that helps, but was wondering if anyone else had this problem, and if there is an easy fix.
