The operating system is windows XP sp2 and office is already installed and has been for quite some time, but now every time I reboot/start up the computer...I get the windows installer pops up and is trying to install office 2000 pro, and you have to hit cancel three or four times in order for it to go away!!

Every solution that I've googled says something about having multiple user accounts and having them on different access privileges, blah, blah,blah...well this system only has one user account and it is on administrator access!!!!

    Any ideas??

That is strange... I see that all the time at work every time I have to logon to someone elses PC and then again when I go back to mine. Sounds like a profile issue.

Yeah...and that is what everything is saying that I've googled, but as I said...there is only one user account on this system and it has administrative privileges.
