Windows Installer

    I keep getting a Windows Installer every time I boot up. It's for Windows Live Messenger and it never completes...it just sits there. I have Windows Installer 3.1 and I've unistalled/reinstalled but i didn't work. It started when I upgraded to SP2. I've thought about running hijack this but I decided to get help. If I upgrade to IE7 would that slove my problem.

    AMD Athlon Prcessor
    AT&T Wired DSL
    Avast Antivirus
    Adaware 2007
    Spybot S&D
