I had Audio Lab - 64 bit (SRS) on my comp and was hit with the FBI Moneypack Virus yesterday.

I used my Acronis cd to boot and recovered my image.

I had installed the Audio Lab after the saved image, so I am trying to reinstall, but the install wizard is stuck at 50% and will not finish.

I have checked Services in Comp Mgmt and it is set to auto, temporarily disabled Virus (MSE) but nothing helps.

I tried to install in Safe Mode, but a message says "installer not available in Safe.

    Any ideas?

I'm starting to think it is a problem with the SRS install program.

    Thanks,
    Paul

    Well, an update:

After struggling for hours yesterday, rebooting, disabling and re-enabling Windows Installer, I just tried the same download process today.

It installed 2 different SRS programs in about 30 seconds with no errors.:-D

After trying both (Audio Essentials and SRS Audio Labs) I find I like my onboard Realtek Hight Def Audio much better.

So, if you have that on your comp, save your money and pass on SRS.;)
